RefractSurvey Responses
A response is one respondent's complete set of answers to a survey. Every response was submitted using a one-time access code, so there's exactly one response per code that's ever been used.
Reading responses
From a survey, the "Responses" link takes you to Analytics first — the aggregated, charted view across every response. "Individual responses" is one click away from there, and shows each respondent's full set of answers on its own page, exactly as they submitted it (including any markdown formatting they used in a long-text answer).
Anonymous by design
Respondents are anonymous on purpose: RefractSurvey never records an IP address against a submitted response. The one-time code system exists specifically so you can control who gets to respond (by handing out codes) without needing to know who did respond once they have.
If a question changes after responses come in
Editing a survey's questions is locked once it's active, specifically to avoid this problem — but if you close a survey, edit a single/multiple-choice question's options, and look at old responses again, an answer that no longer matches any of the question's current options is shown as "Other (option since changed/removed)" rather than silently disappearing.
Deleting a response
A single response can be permanently deleted from its individual view, if you ever need to remove one (for example, at a respondent's request).
